Develop and execute power infrastructure strategies, including utility-scale generation, transmission, substations, and behind-the-meter energy solutions, to support long-term business growth and operational requirements.
Lead commercial negotiations and execution of power-related agreements, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), interconnection agreements, utility service agreements, and other critical energy contracts with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and corporate counterparties.
Direct project financial planning activities, including business case development, investment analysis, project finance modeling, capital structuring, and presentations to executive leadership, investors, and financing partners.
Manage utility and regulatory engagement efforts, serving as the primary liaison with investor-owned utilities, transmission providers, regulatory agencies, and permitting authorities to secure project approvals and reliable grid access.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in power generation, utility infrastructure, energy development, or independent power producer (IPP) environments.
Demonstrated success negotiating and closing complex energy transactions, including PPAs, interconnection agreements, utility contracts, and project finance structures.
Deep understanding of U.S. utility markets, transmission and interconnection processes, regulatory frameworks, and wholesale power market dynamics.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, engage senior utility and regulatory stakeholders, and secure capital for large-scale energy infrastructure investments.
