Director Environmental Affairs

🌎 US - Remote

💸$170 - $200K Base + Bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental investigation, remediation, and redevelopment activities for industrial and energy-related sites.
• Oversee demolition and hazardous material abatement programs while maintaining compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Manage coordination with regulators, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Direct environmental permitting, compliance reporting, and risk management efforts tied to redevelopment initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in environmental consulting in the energy sector.
• Must have experience leading brownfield redevelopment, remediation and demolition for energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations and compliance frameworks.
