VP of Power

🌎 US - Onsite (specific locations)

💸$250K to $300K + Bonus + Equity

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the company’s power strategy across all data centre projects.
• Structure, negotiate, and manage commercial energy deals, including PPAs, VPPAs, tolling agreements, and other innovative power arrangements.
• Develop and implement behind-the-meter (BTM), co-located, and bridge power solutions to optimize reliability and cost.
• Partner with utilities, grid operators, and third-party energy providers to secure favourable terms, incentives, and interconnection agreements.

Requirements

• 10-15+ years of experience in the energy or utility markets, with experience across multiple technology types.
• Proven track record in structuring and negotiating complex commercial energy deals.
• Deep understanding of utility operations, tariffs, interconnection processes, and regulatory frameworks in the U.S.
• Experience with behind-the-meter (BTM) and bridge power solutions, microgrids, or distributed energy resources is highly preferred.
