Senior/Electrical Distribution Designer
- US, Texas - onsite multiple locations
- $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
Responsibilities:
- Act as a professional representative of the company during interactions with landowners, contractors, utilities, and engineering partners.
- Stay informed on evolving tools, technologies, and best practices in electric distribution design.
- Share technical expertise by mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development.
- Design and layout of overhead and underground electric distribution systems in the 4kV to 35kV range.
- Utilize digital platforms to create construction-ready plans, cost estimates, and material lists based on utility specifications.
- Perform site visits using surveying equipment to capture geospatial data and layout staking routes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in electric distribution system design and cost estimation.
- Deep understanding of overhead and underground distribution line standards, construction techniques, and utility design protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Texas driver’s license
