Director, Regulatory Affairs

  • US - Remote
  • $160,000 - $190,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies across federal and state jurisdictions to support business objectives and manage regulatory risk.
  • Advise senior leadership on regulatory developments affecting wholesale power markets, including policy changes, market rule updates, and compliance obligations.
  • Represent the organization in stakeholder processes, technical committees, and working groups within major U.S. RTO/ISO markets.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory filings such as comments, interventions, and compliance documentation with federal and regional authorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, public policy, government affairs, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in regulatory affairs within the power, utilities, or energy infrastructure sector.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. wholesale electricity markets and regulatory frameworks, including RTO/ISO structures and federal oversight.

Experience engaging with regulatory bodies and market operators, including participation in policy discussions or stakeholder processes.
