As we step into the new year at Kinekta, we’re delighted to look back on our 2025 charity partnership with Bromley Y, a brilliant organisation providing vital mental health support services for young people. Giving back is a core part of our culture, and throughout the year our team came together through a range of fundraising and volunteering initiatives to support Bromley Y’s incredible work.

We kicked off our partnership with a hands-on volunteering day at Bromley Y’s headquarters. Our team rolled up their sleeves and spent the day repainting the garden fencing around the building, helping to refresh the outdoor space and create a more welcoming environment for the young people, families, and staff who use it every day.

One of the highlights of the year was our monthly cook-off competition, where teams took part in a friendly culinary challenge to raise donations. The competition was opened by Key Accounts with an American-themed banquet, followed by our team, last year’s winners, who presented an exceptional Greek feast and last but not least the Back Office team hosted a Diwali celebration feast. Bringing us together as a team and raising funds for a great cause.

Our bake sale was another delicious highlight, featuring a fantastic selection of homemade treats from across the team. The spread included lemon drizzle cake made by Becky, chocolate chip cookies from Callum, a classic school cake by Sophie, and both a chocolate Guinness cake and chocolate cornflake bites made by Sophia. Luke impressed with us all with his Biscoff cheesecake again, Adianna baked cinnamon cupcakes, Libby made cake pops, and Claire brought her delicious chocolate shortbread biscuits. Together, this incredible effort helped us raise £472 in just one day.

To round out the year, we brought festive spirit into the office with Christmas Jumper Day, helping us get into the holiday spirit while raising further funds for Bromley Y. This bought our total of all fundraising initiatives to total of £865 raised for Bromley Y.

Across all our fundraising and volunteering efforts, we’re thrilled with the contribution we’ve made to Bromley Y in 2025. Their work supporting young people’s mental wellbeing is invaluable, and we’re grateful to have played a part in helping them continue their mission. Thank you to all of the Kinekta and Synapri team members who volunteered, donated, baked, cooked, and/or painted this year to help us fundraise for such a great cause.
