Can you share your journey from Senior Consultant to Principal Consultant? What key milestones stand out?
Joining Kinekta as one of the first hires, I had a clear progression path from day one. My promotion to Principal Consultant came after achieving key billing targets and demonstrating leadership qualities—mentoring a Delivery Consultant as they transitioned into sales. A major milestone was growing my contractor base and playing a key role in helping Kinekta reach their goals by the end of 2024.
What were the biggest challenges you faced as you transitioned into leadership, and how did you overcome them?
One of the biggest challenges was time management—balancing my own business development efforts while supporting and mentoring others. To overcome this, I refined my time management skills by setting clear daily priorities, implementing structured planning techniques, and ensuring I allocated dedicated time for both my personal growth and team support.
What skills or experiences helped you the most in stepping up to a management role?
Having years of recruitment experience in the energy sector, I’ve been able to leverage industry knowledge to build strong client relationships.
