Substation Manager

Kinekta are currently working with an extremely well renowned Utility Consulting Company who are hiring a Substation Manager to join their team located in Fort Mill, SC. This position will manage both the Fort Mill, SC and Atlanta, GA Substation teams, working in a collaborative environment with experienced designers and engineers.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or University in Electrical or Civil Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in engineering discipline (Substation, Distribution and/or Transmission)
• Experience planning, organizing, scheduling, estimating and monitoring work activities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
• Maintain knowledge of the engineering and technical industry codes, standards, and best practices.
• Interact with customer’s internal engineers and technical personnel on a day-to-day basis

Desirable Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• Engineer in Training Certification (EIT)
