Solar Project Engineer

• Provide early technical insight.
• Support the sales team by producing high level design work where required.
• Gather and review information ahead of detailed design.
• Attend site visits to collect additional data to inform design.
• Work closely with EPC partners, sub-contractors, customers, suppliers and structural engineers.
• Produce feasibility design packs including layout drawings, mounting method details, Bill of Materials and yield assessments.
• Prepare design packs and scope of works documents for issue to EPC partners or sub-contractors.
• Review proposals submitted by EPC partners and sub-contractors.
• Provide technical support for planning applications.
• Manage G99 submissions and any associated network conditions.
• Maintain regular communication with the installation team, either through the PM or directly.
• Visit sites where required to review progress and installation quality.
• Review as built drawings and commissioning documents.
