Head of Asset Management

Location: US - Onsite (multiple locations)

Salary: $170K to $200K + Bonus + Equity

Kinekta are currently partnered with a strong financially backed renewable energy IPP, focusing on utility-scale renewable development. Their first utility-scale asset is expected to come online this year. 

They are searching for a Head of Asset Management to join their team. This role will drive portfolio strategy, ensure compliance, manage key stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to maximize asset value across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Lead asset performance strategy across solar, BESS, and wind portfolios.
• Oversee O&M, HSE, financial and commercial activities to ensure optimal output and compliance.
• Drive data-driven decision-making to improve asset efficiency and returns.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including investors, off-takers, and service providers.
• Coordinate with development, finance, and engineering teams to support lifecycle planning.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in asset management within renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of technical, financial, and regulatory aspects of IPP operations.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional team management skills.
• Degree in business, engineering, finance, or related field.
