Senior Asset Manager

Location: US - Remote

Salary: $150K to $170K + Bonus

Kinekta are currently partnered with an IPP focusing on solar and BESS assets throughout the US, that is searching for a Senior Asset Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the commercial, financial and operation of renewable assets.

Responsibilities:

• Manage late-stage development projects and operational renewable energy assets, providing commercial and financial oversight.
• Develop market expertise to optimise asset performance over time.
• Oversee the P&L of operating assets and create strategic plans to achieve financial and performance goals.
• Support commercial activities, including Power Purchase Agreements and Renewable Energy Credit sales.
• Ensure compliance with commercial and governmental obligations outlined in agreements.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of asset management experience for renewable assets, ideally solar and BESS.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field.
• Experience with financial contract management and O&M management of third-party contractors.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, financial modelling, budgeting, and performance optimisation.
