Kinekta is partnering with a well-funded, growth-stage Battery Storage IPP seeking a Sales Manager to develop and execute the strategy and pipeline for powered shell projects combining BESS with power generation.

Responsibilities

  • Build a qualified pipeline, driving deal sizing, pricing, and term-sheet negotiations to meet margin targets.
  • Lead customer discovery with colocation, hyperscale, and site-selection teams to define technical and commercial requirements.
  • Develop and sell firm power and BESS-based solutions that address grid constraints and meet customer SLAs and redundancy needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, finance, and market teams to align technical, financial, and operational inputs into executable commercial offers.
  • Lead RFP responses and go-to-market activities.

Requirements

  • 3 to 7 years of experience selling into data centers, hyperscalers or mission-critical markets.
  • Familiarity of data center and BESS/firm power fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and manage complex, multi-stakeholder accounts across the data center ecosystem.
  • Relationships at colocation developers/operators or mission critical organizations is a plus.
  • Experience structuring powered-shell or campus projects with a clear understanding of how land, interconnection, and permitting milestones influence deal execution and value.
